Dr. Lobert is a Cincinnati native. She grew up in the Symmes Township area and attended high school at Ursuline Academy in Blue Ash. She then attended Miami Univeristy on a full athletic scholarship and was a member of the Division I volleyball team for her four-year tenure there. She obtained a BA in psychology, graduated magna cum laude, and was named Female Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2002. She went on to attend University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training with University of Cincinnati Hospitals. During her fellowship she received the Outstanding Research Award from the American College of Rheumatology for her study on physician attitudes towards Fibromyalgia.
Dr. Lobert currently resides in Montgomery, Ohio with her husband and three children.
In the five years since the completion of her training, Dr. Lobert has cared for hundreds of patients with chronic pain conditions. She has managed many with Fibromyalgia, Generalized Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, chronic Osteoarthritis pain, and other chronic pain syndromes. She has become known locally for her specialized experience and skill in Fibromyalgia treatment in particular, and has become a consultant for numerous primary care physicians, orthopedics, and other rheumatologists in the area. Most importantly, she has learned extensively from her patients over the years and is eager to continue to do so.
Dr. Lobert also has personal experience with pain as she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 24.
Dr. Lobert feels passionate about helping patients achieve control over their chronic pain. Committed to lifelong learning, she recently obtained a certificate in Nutritional Pain Management , and is in the process of obtaining an Advanced Pain Management Practitioner Certificate through the Academy of Integrative Pain Management.
